Damn I really want to hear this album! It really sucks because there doesn't seem to be anyone distributing Paul's albums in Australia. I want to be able to walk in to a music store and buy them as I never seem to be able to get myself together to order CDs online. Plus with the exchange rate at the moment they are hell too expensive once the price is converted. :(

Yeah I hear your pain dude, but I myself will probably wait till it hits the shelfs at Sydney (Most likely at places like Utopia-where i got goomy n sfbadr), and even if it costs a fortune, Im sure it'll be worth it!

Cant wait to hear this album !

Sorry I'm late! I've been so busy on the road that I haven't had a chance to tell you about my UNITED STATES album with Freddie Nelson. You guys are such good researchers that you already know a lot about it. So I'll just give you some extra details.

Freddie and I grew up in the same small town in Pennsylvania. We had some mutual friends, so I often heard stories of his great guitar playing, but I moved to L.A. before I got a chance to meet him. A year or so ago, I went back to Pennsylvania to visit my dad. I met some of my old friends and band members from when I was a teenager, and one of them gave me a demo. I listened to it and thought, "Who is singing?! This is GREAT!". The singer turned out to be Freddie Nelson. I was surprised because I always knew of Freddie as a guitar player. Of course the guitar playing on the demo was great too.

It is not every day that I discover an amazing singer/guitarist/writer/producer who is from my hometown, has similar musical influences and tastes, and is a cool and easy-going person. So I contacted Freddie and invited him to come out to L.A. for a couple of days to jam and write together.

A few days after I finished SFBADR, Freddie flew out and we wrote two songs in two days. ("The Answer" and "Waste of Time")

I had lots of touring coming up, so we had to wait until the summer of 2008 to get together again and finish the album. Now it is done! I'm working on a European and U.S. release. I'll keep you posted as I get dates.

Freddie and I have a tour booked in Japan at the beginning of February as well. I can't wait to hear him blast through the new songs live!

As always, thank you for listening.

ROCK.

Paul

Awesome. Best of luck getting super distribution. An iTunes release would be cool too.

I am sure I'll be picking this one up. I've heard too much good stuff about this album to pass it by even for a little bit... It is now just a matter of when.

Well I finally got a listen of this album - and WOW! Amazing stuff. Need to listen to it more to really get an idea of how great it is, but for now it is fantastic.

Really enjoying this album now. Now that the missus is back to work I think I can finally go buy PG albums as I can afford them. I have been naughty and downloaded a heap of his stuff seeing as I couldn't buy it off the shelf where I live. I'm going to co-ordinate myself to buy an album or two each month off Amazon now to finally pay Paul back for the wonderful music. :)
