 NAMM VIP Lessons
Hello!
I am finally back after a tour around the world. The MR. BIG shows were fantastic, but I'm happy to be home in Los Angeles for a while.
The NAMM show is coming up in January, so I thought I would try to organize some VIP lessons around that time.
If you're coming to the NAMM show or if you live in Southern CA, please come down and jam! I found an awesome rehearsal studio that is just one mile from NAMM, so it should be easy to get there.
More details are on my website:
http://www.paulgilbert.com/VipLessons.html
Until then... Let's keep playing our guitars!
Thank you,
Paul

BLEEP.
*wide-eyed surprise*
This is ... awesome news!
*gets act in gear*
:)
And the price is certainly right, too.
But walking a mile there, then back?! ARGH!
... at least it won't be "heat index: 95" like it was reported to have been for the Guitar Center sessions.

It was too irresistible. I had to blog it. Paul solo *and* educational. Great - what an awesome surprise!
Just when I thought Pablo was going to disappear until April... he comes out like gangbusters with SIX VIP lesson sessions in 2 days. :)
Lucas, you should totally save up. If you're going to be in the area, it would just be a cryin' shame if you missed it!

I asked for a ticket space / invoice, so... we'll see!
edit: in the meantime, I have ramped up my air guitar practice regimen. I need my technique to be perfect. :)

OK here is some stuff... some fact, some conjecture/educated guessing, but stuff nonetheless.
First of all, you do NOT need a NAMM pass to go to these lessons. (I got that direct from TJ) You can sign up for them without regards to NAMM. It just takes place on the same days as some of the NAMM show, that's all. So, obviously if you're already going to be at NAMM and want to have the lesson with Paul, you only have to travel one mile from the NAMM location to get to Wall Of Sound Studios. I gather that it's very convienent. :)
And second... the autographs thing. That is probably not part of the 75 minutes. Every full recording of a VIP session I've checked out... the goodies bags and the pictures/signing takes place after the one hour mark (those were 60 minute lessons). You'll have your hands on your guitar for the whole 75 minutes. If the past is any indicator of the future. Should be awesome.
And Paul got rid of the bone-heads and Mr. Big from his website menu. The FAQ has still not come back.
