A good friend of mine is at NAMM right now and has told me there will be a Paul Gilbert Signature Flanger from Ibanez.

Thats all the information i have now, but i will update as it becomes available.

No way would Ibanez be stupid enough to release a PG signature flanger the same year ADA come back in with their flanger. Paul has never used an Ibanez flanger to my knowladge, and all the fans who would buy one, will just buy the ADA one as that's the one Paul uses. It doesn't make economic sense for Ibanez to do that.

paul is on the edge of a big change in his gear and life, hope nothing goes bad, I want the regular old paul

Ibanez doesn't care about ADA. They might not even know that ADA is coming back and re-releasing their flanger.

They made a pedal that Paul likes enough to endorse. Good for them. Whether it is as good as the ADA or not it probably is a decent pedal. It may end up being cheaper than the ADA we'll have to wait and see.

If it sounds good I would consider buying it whether Paul uses it or not. I don't buy things just because they have Pauls name on it, or he used to use them.

In fact, if this is indeed true. I think this is probably the reason why Ibanez is doing this for Paul.
