 Judas Priest - Painkiller
A few hours ago, I got a CD copy of Judas Priest's Painkiller.
I've had a cassette copy for years, but I decided it was time to upgrade to CD.
Everybody on here probably already knows that right before Scott Travis joined Judas Priest, he was in the band Saints Or Sinners, which later changed their name to The Scream after Scott left for Judas Priest.
My cassette copies of Defenders Of The Faith and Ram It Down worn out, so I think I'm going to upgrade to CD on those next.

Painkiller is to me a perfect heavy metal album;
It does not have any weak songs. They're all powerful...including that short Battle Hym song!
To me, the only other perfect album I can reacall from the top of my mind is Rust in Peace.

Painkiller and Defenders of The Faith are definitely my favorite Priest albums.

x 2.
But Painkiller is surely a Priest classic, and it shows all the power that Scott added to the band.
My other fav albums of JP are British Steel, Defenders and Sin After Sin.

Yeap, Screaming For Vengence Definitely has no flaw in it. I love Painkiller too though.

All these isolated tracks things are pretty awesome to make backing tracks! The isolated guitar tracks are really instructive too.
